Sailing outrigger canoes are capable of reaching speeds of 25 knots under the right conditions and is an experience that you'll never forget. Sailing canoes are raced with a crew of 6 in races up to 150km in Hawaii. These sailing canoes are built to the Hawaiian Sailing Outrigger Canoe Association specifications and kits are available in Australia through Whitsunday Fibreglass and Marine. These kits drop straight onto an OC6 with no modifications needed so the canoes can be used for both paddling and sailing. |
