"Powerade Hamilton Island Cup" Marathon

Total prize money for this event is $60,000
Only those
teams who have competed in the 16km marathons will be eligible
to win prizemoney and abiding by all Official Race Rules and
Hamilton Island Rules will be eligible to win prize
money.
Prize money will be distributed amongst the
following five (6) divisions:
Open Men, Master Men,
Senior Master Men, Open Women, Master Women, and Open Mixed
Division.
Golden Master Men, Senior Master Women and
Golden Master Women divisions will race for
medals.
PLEASE NOTE: There must be a
minimum of six (6) teams racing in a division to be eligible
for prizemoney. If there are are less than 6 teams
nominated, teams may race for medals only or switch to another
division.
Prizemoney will be awarded as follows. All
divisions:

Charles Pene "Spirit of Aloha Award"
-$1,000
In memory of Charles Pene a special
award of $1,000 will be made to an individual, a team or a
club who through their actions over the weekend exhibit the
true aloha spirit of our sport. Please feel free to nominate
anybody over the weekend.
This will (or will not) be
awarded at the Race Administrators
discretion.
